Vaio Amaron Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG

It is an important Amarone, of extraordinary strength and complexity, among the best ten wines in the world according to Wine Spectator.
It represents the icon of the historic Serego Alighieri estates and comes from the homonymous vineyard from which the name Amarone seems to derive. This aristocratic wine is produced by repeating skilful rites in the vineyard, in the ancient fruit rooms for withering and in the cellar.
The elegant personality is emphasized by the use of the Serego Alighieri clone Molinara and aging in cherry barrels, as a family tradition.

Deep and brilliant ruby red color, the nose is complex, with aromas of overripe cherries and cooked plums. On the palate there is an "illusion of sweetness", hints of cherry and berries, spiced with cinnamon and vanilla.

Perfect with red meats, game, quails, roasts, tasty dishes. Excellent pairing with seasoned and spicy cheeses such as parmesan and pecorino. Large and sumptuous wine for the end of the meal.

Alcoholic strength: 15,5% vol.
