Montepiazzo Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC 
 Elegant, original wine with good structure and complexity. It is the archetype of Valpolicella described by Hemingway, " as friendly as the home of a brother with whom you get along ". 
 It is produced in the historic estates of the Serego Alighieri Counts which for over 650 years have represented the history, tradition and culture of Valpolicella. The style of the noble Casato is emphasized by the use of the exclusive Molinara clone Serego Alighieri and the aging in cherry barrels. 
 Intense ruby red in appearance, aromas of wood, cherry and berries on the nose, vigorous, elegant on the palate, with hints of cherry in spirit, cloves and vanilla. 
 Elegant and important wine for the whole meal, excellent with grilled red meats, roasts and aged cheeses. 
 Alcohol content: 13.5% vol.
